Thank you for this. The whole idea of having OO as aportable appis surely that it doesn’t carry any excess baggage; so we need to know what we can discard.

Thanks, I’m glad you found it useful.

Slimming down to Writer/Calc (and possibly Impress) only was my original goal with this post. Unfortunately, so many components are shared among the programs that there’s not much more space to be saved from removing the individual apps.

You could remove the individual executables from \OOP\openoffice\program , but I doubt you’d save more than 100KB per program.

Do you know if there would be any way to slim down OOP even further, for someone who only wanted to use Writer and Calc?

It would be great to remove the other features that I did not use.
